Our topic was looking at what it is like to be in a minority group in the United States. We didn’t specially focus on one social issue, instead we include different issues that individuals that belong to minorities experience on a daily basis. We used a podcast format to critically analyze the issue we chose. The challenge we had was choosing a social issue and what format we were going to use. My group was great and everyone was helping me to further understand the issue more deeply. Our group was made up of all students who belong to a minority group. So we had some experience first hand with this issue and have witnessed our loved one going through the system of oppressing, it was easier for us to share and be on the same page.

The slide that was presented was artistic and informational. I like how they incorporated recipes and presented what is an acceptable way to help the environment.
Group 2: Podcast
The group did a wonderful job discussing the issue. It was an interesting topic and I really enjoyed it.
Group 3: Boardgame
The board game was entertaining at the same time educational. I really liked the idea!
Group 4: Slides (Fake News)
I thought the information was very organized and detailed.

The video was very creative and engaging.

What a fun way to educate and bring awareness for the environment.
